Mumbai : The Maharashtra government has made e-KYC compulsory for women availing benefits under the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Beneficiaries must complete the process within two months through the official portal — ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in.
To complete e-KYC, women need to submit documents including Aadhaar card, income certificate (up to ₹2.5 lakh annually), bank details linked with Aadhaar, marriage certificate (if required), photograph, domicile proof, and an affidavit.
The step-by-step process can be done online or on mobile by entering Aadhaar details, uploading documents, and completing biometric verification.
Officials have stated that failure to complete e-KYC may result in suspension of scheme benefits, while timely completion will ensure regular financial assistance and transparency.
