Mumbai : A shocking incident in Kalyan near Ambivli station around 7 AM, a 26-year-old man lost his leg after being pushed from the moving Tapovan Express during a mobile snatching attempt. The accused, a 16-year-old minor, attacked the passenger’s hand to snatch his phone, causing him to fall from the train.
Tragically, the victim’s left leg was severely injured after getting caught under the wheels. Despite his critical condition, the minor reportedly assaulted him with sticks and forcibly took his ₹20,000 phone before fleeing the scene.
The Kalyan Railway Police have registered a case and taken the minor into custody. Further investigation is underway.
