Mumbai, October 15: A shocking case of road negligence has surfaced in Mumbai after a woman identified as Yasmin Shaikh, a Congress leader, social activist, and teacher, was reportedly hit by a reckless biker while standing at a bus stop.
According to Shaikh, the biker rammed into her carelessly and, instead of apologizing, responded with arrogance. “A lady is standing, and he didn’t even see me — after hitting me, he told me to do whatever I want. He said he doesn’t care,” Shaikh said, expressing her anger and distress.
She further alleged that the man was riding without a helmet and hit her directly from the side before boldly parking his bike at the bus stop. “He showed unbelievable audacity, saying I can complain to whoever I wish,” she added.
The incident has sparked outrage among citizens, highlighting the growing menace of reckless driving and lack of accountability on Mumbai’s roads. Concerned residents are urging authorities to take stringent action against rash drivers to ensure pedestrian safety and prevent similar incidents in the future.
