Vasai : Acting on a tip-off received by Crime Branch Unit-2 Officer Sachin Vilas Patil, a joint operation by Vasai, Manikpur, Valiwada, and Achole police stations led to the arrest of 11 individuals in Ram-Raheem Nagar, Vasai East.
The accused—identified as Kumar Vilas Sable, Ibrauddeen Chowdhary, Kartik Singh, Gurpreet Labana alias Babba, Kailas Chikhale, Vishnu Kharat, Sachin Bhalerao, Vikram Harijan, Ramjan Qureshi, Ganesh Bhasle, and Ganesh Jadhav—were allegedly plotting to rob a bungalow.
Police seized a country-made pistol, four cartridges, a chopper, a knife, chili powder, cash, and mobile phones, collectively valued at ₹1.77 lakh. Authorities confirmed that most of the accused have prior criminal records.a
