Vasai: The Vasai Crime Branch (Unit-2) has made a major breakthrough in a molestation case reported in the Naigaon police station area. The accused, identified as Ranu Kamlesh Singh, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
According to police sources, the incident took place on October 14, when a 25-year-old woman was allegedly molested by the accused. Following the victim’s complaint, a case was promptly registered at the Naigaon police station.
Acting swiftly, the Vasai Crime Branch traced and apprehended the accused before handing him over to the Naigaon police for further legal proceedings. Officials confirmed that the investigation is currently underway.
