Mumbai : The police have apprehended two young men for allegedly participating in illegal street racing using stolen motorcycles on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway. The accused were caught during a late-night operation after locals reported reckless speeding and dangerous stunts on the busy highway.
According to officials, the suspects had modified the stolen bikes for high-speed racing, posing a serious risk to public safety. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Motor Vehicles Act.
Authorities have warned against such illegal activities, emphasizing strict action against those involved in street racing or riding stolen vehicles. Further investigations are underway to determine if more individuals are linked to the case.
