Mumbai : Two men lost their lives and two others were injured in a tragic accident on the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway when their car collided with a parked truck near Padra. The victims were travelling from Surat to Ahmedabad when the crash occurred.
The deceased have been identified as Ashwin Patel and Mehul Galani, both of whom were declared dead on the spot. The injured passengers are currently undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.
This marks the second fatal accident on this stretch in just two days. Earlier, two labourers were killed after a speeding SUV rammed into them, raising serious concerns about road safety and enforcement along this high-speed corridor.
Authorities are investigating the latest incident, while safety experts once again highlight the need for stricter monitoring and better management of stationary vehicles on expressways.
