Mumbai : In view of the upcoming India Maritime Week Exhibition at NESCO Centre, Goregaon, the Mumbai Traffic Police have announced several traffic restrictions in the city’s western suburbs from October 27 to 31, between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.
According to officials, the measures are intended to manage heavy vehicular movement and ensure smooth traffic flow during the high-profile event, which is expected to attract VIPs and large crowds.
🚫 Key Restrictions:
The stretch between Mrinal Tai Gore Junction and NESCO Gap will remain closed for all vehicles.
Right turns from Ram Mandir Road to NESCO Gap are prohibited.
The service lane from Hub Mall towards NESCO/Jay Coach Junction will be closed.
One-way traffic will be allowed from NESCO Gap towards Mrinal Tai Gore Junction.
Parking will be strictly banned on the Western Express Highway service roads, Khan Jaji Road, and the road from Trauma Care Hospital service road to Ashok Nagar.
🚗 Alternate Routes for Commuters:
Vehicles from Ram Mandir Road can use Mrinal Tai Gore Flyover, Mahananda Dairy, and the Western Express Highway service road or JVLR Link Road.
Vehicles from JVLR Junction can proceed via Powai or the Western Express Highway service lanes.
The Mumbai Police have urged motorists to plan their travel accordingly, avoid restricted stretches, and cooperate with traffic authorities during the event period.
