Dombivli: Incessant rainfall across Maharashtra has caused distress in several regions, prompting police to advise citizens to step out only if absolutely necessary. Despite the warnings, some ventured outdoors to experience the rain.
An incident was reported in the railway underpass between Nilje village and Lodha Heaven, under the jurisdiction of Manpada Police Station, where a Tata Safari got submerged due to heavy waterlogging. The stranded passengers were safely rescued with the help of locals.
Authorities have once again urged residents to remain cautious during heavy rains and limit movement to essential tasks only.
