Purnam Kumar Shaw, the Border Security Force (BSF) jawan who was handed over to Indian authorities by Pakistan, endured a distressing 21-day ordeal in Pakistani custody after his arrest on April 23 along the International Border in Punjab. According to sources, he was blindfolded, subjected to sleep deprivation, and verbally abused by Pakistani officials during his detention.
