Mumbai :- A coordinated operation was carried out to clear unauthorized encroachments between km. no. 34/18 and 35/05 on the eastern side of Borivali. The drive, part of a pre-planned initiative by the Railway Department, saw active participation from the Borivali Railway Protection Force (RPF), Government Railway Police (GRP), local city police, and engineering staff.
The removal of illegal settlements was conducted to ensure safety and smooth railway operations. Authorities emphasized that such encroachments pose significant risks and hinder infrastructure development.
Officials stated that the drive was executed efficiently with multi-departmental cooperation. Further anti-encroachment actions are expected in the coming weeks to maintain railway land free from unauthorized occupation
