Pune:- In a major crackdown, Pune Police have exposed a prostitution racket operating under the cover of spa centers in upscale areas like Bhandarkar Road and Lohegaon. Acting on a tip-off, the police carried out raids in two phases, rescuing 18 girls — including 10 foreign nationals and two minors.
The investigation revealed that the main accused, identified as Kiran alias Anuradha Baburao Ade, allegedly lured vulnerable women with job promises and later coerced them into sex work. The police have registered cases under multiple sections of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act and the POCSO Act.

The operation was led by Senior Inspector Ashalata Khapre, and efforts are ongoing to trace more victims and identify others involved in the racket.
