Mumbai: In a dramatic turn at Manoj Jarange Patil’s protest site, not only opposition MLAs and MPs but also legislators from the ruling alliance extended their support. OBC leader Laxman Hake made serious allegations, claiming that MLAs from Ajit Pawar’s faction are involved in attempts to topple the Fadnavis-led government.
Amidst these charges, NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) MLAs Vijay Singh Pandit and Prakash Solanke visited Jarange’s protest venue and declared their backing. Hake accused lawmakers of trying to use Jarange’s agitation as a front to destabilize the state government.
Meanwhile, cross-party support for Jarange Patil continues to grow, intensifying the political buzz. Before Jarange’s arrival in Mumbai, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis had remarked that “everyone knows who is backing the Maratha agitation,” a statement that has now triggered speculation over his intended target.
