Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of several NDA-ruled states — including poll-bound Bihar — are expected to visit New Delhi on May 25 for a high-level briefing on Operation Sindoor, India’s recent military strikes targeting terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the leaders will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the details of the military action and the ceasefire agreement announced last Saturday following the operation.
After PM Modi’s televised address to the nation late last night, NDA allies expressed strong support for the government’s decisive action, taken in response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu lauded the PM’s speech, calling it a defining moment for India’s security doctrine.
“His address was a stern warning to Pakistan-sponsored terrorists and a clear message of strength to the world. On this Buddha Purnima, we reaffirm our commitment to peace, but history reminds us that true peace comes through strength. We follow the path of peace, but with zero tolerance for terrorism,” Naidu posted on X.
Naidu also praised India’s indigenous defence technology, saying it demonstrated India’s preparedness for modern warfare and filled citizens with pride.
Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader Chirag Paswan echoed similar sentiments.
“The Prime Minister has made it unequivocally clear that any future dialogue with Pakistan will only be about terrorism and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). India will not tolerate nuclear blackmail. Any threat will be met with precise and decisive strikes against terror bases,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the BJP has announced a 10-day nationwide Tiranga Yatra starting today to highlight the bravery of India’s armed forces during Operation Sindoor. The campaign will showcase the destruction inflicted on terrorist infrastructure and the strategic impact of the strikes
