Pimpri–Chinchwad Police Deport Six Illegally Residing Bangladeshi Nationals to Their Home Country

Mumbai : law enforcement authorities in Pimpri–Chinchwad apprehended six Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in India, following intelligence indicating their plan to travel from Bhujbawl Chowk–Wakad on the Pune–Bengaluru Highway towards Mumbai .

The group has been identified as Mohammad Usman Shirajun Ali Sheikh, Abdullah Shagar Mulla, Mobin Harun Sheikh, Jahangir Billa Mulla, Mohammad Ilahin Eliaz Bishwas, and Toheed Muslem Hasan Sheikh . During interrogation in Pune, their nationality was confirmed, prompting their arrest by the Pimpri–Chinchwad Crime Branch Unit 4.

Following coordination with the Border Security Force (BSF), the detainees were transferred to Pune’s Lohegaon Airport. They were flown to Guwahati, from where they were deported to Bangladesh aboard a special BSF-arranged flight .

This case highlights ongoing enforcement actions targeting undocumented migrants in the Pune region, reflecting heightened vigilance by both local police and border authorities.
