Mumbai : Canadian-American actress Pamela Anderson has become the highest-paid contestant in the history of the Indian reality show Bigg Boss. Reports suggest she was paid around ₹2.5 crore for a brief three-day appearance on Season 4, making her the costliest participant in the show’s history.

Despite her short stay, Anderson’s presence generated massive buzz, highlighting Bigg Boss’s appeal in attracting global celebrities. Her appearance reflects a growing trend where high-profile figures receive substantial remuneration for their involvement. For comparison, former cricketer Sreesanth reportedly earned about ₹50 lakh per week during Bigg Boss 12.

The show’s host, Salman Khan, remains one of the top earners, with reports indicating he earned nearly ₹20 crore per weekend during Bigg Boss 14.

Pamela Anderson’s record-breaking fee underscores the rising commercial value of reality television in India and the increasing interest of international stars in such shows.
