A former FBI counterintelligence agent has alleged that Russian intelligence attempted to target billionaire Elon Musk for potential blackmail, exploiting his alleged involvement with sex and drugs to gain leverage. The claim was made by Jonathan Buma during a documentary aired by the German broadcaster ZDF. Buma stated that following the onset of the war in Ukraine, both Musk and PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel became subjects of interest for Russian operatives, who reportedly gathered compromising information that could be used against them if necessary.
