Mumbai: The Mumbai Police, through its Narcotics Cell, organized an awareness rally to highlight the harmful effects of narcotics and their social and economic impact. Despite these efforts, reports indicate that some youth continue to openly consume drugs in areas like Bhindi Bazaar’s Nijam Street, raising serious concerns.

Authorities emphasized that narcotics consumption not only damages individual health but also contributes to broader social and economic problems. Officials have urged strict enforcement measures to curb drug use and protect young people from addiction, ensuring the safety of the community.

Mumbai Police remain on duty 24/7 to address such issues. Political leaders including Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde, and Ajit Pawar have been briefed on the situation.
