Ashish Shetty, a 21-year-old choreographer, surrendered to Malwani Police after allegedly murdering Nitin Solanki, his sister’s boyfriend. Shetty discovered Solanki’s three-year relationship with his sister and, shockingly, a separate relationship with his mother.

The accused, identified as Ashish Shetty, a choreographer living near Malwani Church, surrendered at the police station following the incident.

According to police, Shetty discovered that his sister had been in a three-year relationship with 40-year-old Nitin Solanki, a ward boy at a private hospital who lived in Jogeshwari. Shetty also allegedly learnt that Solanki was involved with his mother.

On 5 September, around 7 pm, Shetty called Solanki and asked to meet him. He then went to Jogeshwari and convinced Solanki to come to Malad, claiming he would help make his relationship with Shetty’s sister permanent.

Shetty brought Solanki to a nullah near the Marve Road T-Junction in Malad, where he attacked him with a wooden object, killing him. Shetty later surrendered at the police station, stating he had committed the crime in a fit of rage

Police officers rushed to the scene and took Solanki to a public hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A murder case has been registered against Shetty.
