MHADA Extends Deadline for Online Applications for Konkan Board Housing Lottery

Mumbai: The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) Konkan Board has extended the deadline for online applications for its upcoming housing lottery. The scheme offers around 5,285 affordable homes located in prime areas of Thane city, Thane district, and Vasai, along with 77 plots in Oros (Sindhudurg) and Kulgaon-Badlapur.

According to Konkan Board Chief Officer Revati Gaikwad, the registration and payment process for the lottery has been extended until September 12, 2025, with online deposit payments accepted until September 13, and RTGS/NEFT payments allowed until September 15, 2025.

As of August 28, 2025, the board had received 1,49,948 applications, of which 1,16,583 were accompanied by the deposit. The provisional list of eligible applicants will be published on September 22, 2025, while objections can be filed online until September 24. The final list will be released on October 7, 2025.

The lottery draw is scheduled for October 9, 2025, at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Natyagriha in Thane, with the names of successful and waitlisted applicants published on MHADA’s official website: https://housing.mhada.gov.in.

The Konkan Board lottery is divided into five categories: 565 flats under the 20% Comprehensive Housing Scheme, 3,002 flats under the 15% Integrated City Housing Scheme, 1,677 under the MHADA Konkan Housing Scheme, 41 under the Affordable Housing quota, and 77 residential plots.

The online application process began on July 15, 2025, under the guidance of MHADA Vice President and CEO Sanjeev Jaiswal (IAS). A helpline number (022-69468100) has also been launched to assist applicants.
