Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh :-A tragic train accident occurred in Bilaspur district where a Korba-bound passenger train collided head-on with a goods train near Lal Khadan, close to Bilaspur railway station. The collision resulted in the death of six people and left several others injured.
According to officials, the MEMU train was traveling from Gevra to Bilaspur, while the goods train was coming from the opposite direction. Both trains ended up on the same track, leading to a massive collision.
Railway officials and rescue teams rushed to the site immediately after the incident. Multiple ambulances were deployed, and injured passengers are being shifted to nearby hospitals. Authorities have begun an investigation into how both trains came onto the same track.
