Maharashtra Looks Forward to Collaboration with YouTube, Says Devendra Fadnavis After Meeting CEO Neal Mohan

Mumbai :– In a significant step towards strengthening the digital creator economy and enhancing educational and skill development initiatives, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met with Shri Neal Mohan, Global CEO of YouTube, earlier today in Mumbai.
The two leaders discussed a broad range of collaborative possibilities between the Government of Maharashtra (GoM) and YouTube, focusing particularly on leveraging the platform for education, skill development, and empowerment of content creators across the state.
Fadnavis praised YouTube’s role in democratizing content creation and offering global exposure to voices from every corner of the world. “YouTube has opened up great avenues for people from all walks of life to push their content and seek global recognition. It has made learning a positive experience and communication more accessible,” he stated.
Neal Mohan is visiting Mumbai as part of the prestigious ‘WAVES’ Summit. During the meeting, he lauded the efforts of the Government of India (GoI) and the GoM for organizing the event at a global scale and commended the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Fadnavis extended a warm welcome to Mohan and his team, calling Mumbai “the capital of entertainment and creators,” and wished him great success during his visit.
