Mumbai : In a major relief for thousands of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) employees, the state government has released ₹471 crore to ensure timely payment of their salaries.
According to officials, the funds were deposited into the corporation’s account late on Sunday, allowing employees to receive their pending wages on Monday. The move has brought much-needed relief to the staff, who had been waiting anxiously for their payments.
The government’s prompt action aims to maintain employee morale and ensure that MSRTC’s public transport services continue to operate smoothly across the state.
