Kalyan : Mahatma Phule police in Kalyan conducted a dramatic raid on August 8, targeting a massage parlor named “Avantra Spa,” located near Kalyan Railway Station on Vallipur Road. The operation exposed a covert prostitution ring operating under the guise of a spa.
Two individuals—manager Naushad Sheikh and driver Yogesh Chavan—were arrested at the scene. A third accomplice, identified as Bhim Singh Naik, remains at large. During the raid, police successfully rescued 10 female victims who were being exploited under false pretenses.
Police revealed that the spa lured women with promises of legitimate employment and then forced them into prostitution. The swift action by the Mahatma Phule police prevented further abuse and apprehended key individuals involved in the racket.
Authorities have launched a manhunt for the remaining suspect, Bhim Singh Naik, and are conducting further investigations into the network behind the illicit operation.
