Kalyan: A violent clash broke out on Saturday evening in the Dhakte Shahad Koliwada area of Kalyan between two families—an uncle and nephew—over a long-standing land dispute. The confrontation quickly escalated into stone-pelting and a brutal brawl, leaving residents in shock.
Four people sustained injuries during the altercation, with Vinod Dattatreya Kote, the nephew, critically injured after being struck with an iron weapon. He has been admitted to the hospital, while police presence has been increased in the area to maintain law and order.
Authorities confirmed that the situation remains tense, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
