The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially released the schedule for the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 playoffs. After an exhilarating league phase comprising 70 matches, the focus now shifts to the knockout stages, culminating in the grand finale.

The playoffs will commence with Qualifier 1 on Thursday, May 29, at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, featuring the top two teams from the league standings. The Eliminator, scheduled for Friday, May 30, will also be held at the same venue, showcasing the third and fourth-placed teams battling for a spot in Qualifier 2.

Qualifier 2 is slated for Sunday, June 1, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where the loser of Qualifier 1 will face the winner of the Eliminator. The pinnacle of the tournament, the IPL 2025 Final, is set to take place at the same venue on Tuesday, June 3, determining the champion of the 18th season of the IPL.

In light of adverse weather forecasts, particularly in Bengaluru, the BCCI has made strategic venue adjustments to ensure uninterrupted matches. Notably, Match No. 65 between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), originally scheduled at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, has been relocated to the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. This decision aims to mitigate potential rain disruptions and maintain the integrity of the tournament schedule.

Cricket enthusiasts can anticipate a thrilling conclusion to the IPL 2025 season, with the playoffs promising high-stakes encounters and top-tier cricketing action.
