Mumbai, July 22, 2025:- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall in several coastal districts of Maharashtra, including Palghar, Thane, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg over the next few days.
According to IMD officials, the rainfall is part of the ongoing monsoon activity in the Konkan region. Citizens are advised to remain cautious, especially in low-lying areas, due to the potential for waterlogging.
Local authorities have been alerted to ensure proper drainage and emergency response readiness.
