Mumbai : The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall warning for the Brihanmumbai region today, as the city continues to witness intense downpours.
State Minister of Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Mumbai Suburbs District Guardian Minister, Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, visited the emergency control room at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) headquarters to review the rainfall situation.
During the inspection, BMC Commissioner and Administrator Shri Bhushan Gagrani and Mumbai Police Commissioner Mr. Deven Bharti were also present. The officials assessed preparedness measures and later interacted with the media regarding the city’s response to the ongoing weather conditions.
