Mumbai: The iconic Habib Hospital in Dongri, managed by the Habib Esmail Hospital & Medical Trust, has completed 90 years of service and announced a free cardiac health camp to mark the milestone.

The camp, scheduled from September 5 to 15, 2025, will offer free consultations, diagnostic services, and access to world-class cardiac care facilities. The initiative also coincides with the 1500th birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, Teachers’ Day on September 5, and the Ganesh Festival.

Trust Chairman Javed Sir Shroff, along with trustees Mr. Charania, Mr. Halani, Mr. Nathani, Mr. Somjee, and Medical Director Dr. Mrs. Saudagar, announced the camp as part of the hospital’s humanitarian mission.

The hospital has recently undergone major upgrades, including the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Cath Lab and CCU, enabling procedures such as angiographies, angioplasties, and open-heart surgeries. The event was attended by leading religious scholars, social activists, doctors, advocates, corporate leaders, and dignitaries including MP Arvind Sawant and former minister Arif Naseem Khan.

Under the leadership of the Trust, the hospital has also successfully implemented the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (MJPJAY) scheme for eligible citizens and is taking steps to introduce the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

“This camp reflects our commitment to compassion, inclusion, and medical equality. We invite all members of the community to benefit from this initiative,” said Chairman Javed Sir Shroff.
