Mumbai, September 2: This year’s Ganesh Chaturthi turned historic at Shivaji Park Police Station in Dadar, where for the very first time, a Ganesh idol was installed on the premises. The occasion was deeply emotional and memorable for all officers and staff members.
For seven days, the festival was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm through daily prayers, rituals, and devotional songs. The initiative was not only about worship but also about uniting society and the community, setting an example that duty and tradition can go hand in hand.
Although the idol was immersed today, the echoes of Ganesh aarti, chants, and bhajans over the past week have left behind an atmosphere of positivity and spiritual energy in every corner of the police station.
