Mumbai : The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has once again unleashed violence in Canada, with reports of fresh gunfire in multiple locations. Canada had officially designated the gang as a terrorist organization on September 29, 2025, but the move appears to have had little impact in curbing its activities.
On October 5, Fateh Portugal, a key associate of the gang, claimed through a social media post that their group had been carrying out shootings for the past three days at several sites linked to a man named Naveen Tasi.
The renewed violence has sparked alarm over the gang’s continued operations in Canada, highlighting the challenges authorities face in containing organized crime networks despite strict terror designations.
