Mumbai : The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, along with NHAI and IHMCL, has launched the FASTag Annual Pass on August 15, 2025. This prepaid toll solution is designed for private vehicles (cars, jeeps, vans) and allows smoother, cost-effective travel on national highways.
What is the FASTag Annual Pass?
For a one-time payment of ₹3,000, users get toll-free access across NHAI-managed highways and expressways. The pass is valid for one year or 200 trips, whichever comes first.

Commercial vehicles (trucks, buses, taxis)
Two-wheelers
Vehicles with blacklisted or inactive FASTag
How to Activate
Available via Rajmarg Yatra App or NHAI/MoRTH websites
Requires valid FASTag linked to vehicle registration
Pay online (UPI, card, net banking) – activation within 2 hours
How Trips Are Counted
Plaza-based tolls: One crossing = 1 trip, round trip = 2 trips
Closed-loop tolls: One full journey = 1 trip
