New Delhi, November 10 :- A sudden explosion inside a car near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station triggered panic in the area on Monday. Following the blast, flames spread to nearby vehicles, causing damage to three or four cars, according to the Delhi Fire Department.
Fire tenders rushed to the spot and managed to bring the blaze under control. Police and forensic teams have begun a detailed investigation to determine the cause of the explosion. So far, no casualties or arrests have been reported.
Authorities have sealed off the area and are reviewing CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts to trace the sequence of events. The incident has raised security concerns in one of the city’s busiest and most sensitive zones.
