PUNE : In a major cybercrime case, former employees of Hinjawadi-based Futurium Technologies Private Limited have been accused of stealing proprietary source code and software solutions, resulting in an estimated loss of ₹82 crore between April 2024 and August 2025.

Dattatray Prabhakar Kale, a managing officer of the company, filed a formal complaint with the Cyber Police of Pimpri Chinchwad.

According to investigators, the accused — Biswajit Mishra, Nathum Sheikh, and Sagar Vishnu — conspired with others to violate company contracts and illegally access confidential data. They allegedly used this stolen intellectual property to launch their own company and created over 100 unauthorized websites for commercial gain.

Police revealed that the group collaborated with clients in both India and the US to profit from the stolen information. The cyber unit seized three laptops and four mobile phones believed to have been used in the commission of the crime.

The company reported significant losses, not only in revenue but also in potential future contracts and technical service opportunities. The investigation is ongoing.
