Mumbai : Passengers faced major inconvenience after Dindoshi Metro Station was suddenly shut down without prior notice, leaving hundreds stranded during peak hours.
While limited services continued on Yellow Line 2A and Red Line 7—operating between Andheri West and Dahisar East, and on a single track between Overipada and Aare—commuters at Dindoshi said no clear information was provided about service resumption or alternative travel arrangements.
Frustrated passengers also alleged that station staff were themselves unaware of the situation, adding to the confusion.
Commuters have demanded timely updates and stronger coordination from metro authorities to prevent such disruption from spiraling into chaos in the future.
