Mumbai : Veteran Bollywood icon Dharmendra Deol, aged 89, has been discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after several days of treatment. The actor, fondly known as Dharam Paaji, will now continue his recovery at home under medical supervision.
Sources revealed that Dharmendra was admitted following breathing difficulties, but his condition has since improved. His daughter Esha Deol assured fans through social media that her father is “stable and recovering well.”
In response to large crowds of fans and media gathering near his home, tight security has been deployed outside Dharmendra’s Juhu residence. Police personnel and private guards have been stationed to manage the situation and ensure privacy for the family.
Earlier, security was also heightened outside Breach Candy Hospital as speculation about the actor’s health drew significant public attention. Amid this, the Deol family condemned false death rumours circulating online, with Hema Malini calling for responsible reporting and respect for their privacy.
Several Bollywood stars and close friends have extended their support to the family, wishing the legendary actor a speedy and complete recovery.
