Devendra Fadnavis Visits Kirloskar Heritage Home in Pune, Highlights Indo-Japan Industrial Ties

Mumbai : Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, recently visited ‘Lakaki’—the iconic heritage home of the Kirloskar family in Pune. He was warmly hosted by Geetanjali Vikram Kirloskar, Chairperson of Toyota Kirloskar Motor, and Vice Chairperson Manasi Kirloskar Tata.

During the visit, Fadnavis paid tribute to industrial pioneers Late S.L. Kirloskar and Late Vikram Kirloskar, the visionary founder of the Toyota Kirloskar Group. He also held meaningful interactions with Toyota India MD Nobuaki Yahiro and CEO Masakazu Yoshimura.

Fadnavis expressed optimism over the growing Indo-Japan partnership, especially through collaborations like Kirloskar-Toyota. He congratulated the team on their upcoming expansion project in Bidkin, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, which is expected to significantly boost the regional economy and generate employment.

He extended his gratitude to the Kirloskar family for their warm hospitality and reaffirmed Maharashtra’s commitment to fostering international industrial alliances.
