Devendra Fadnavis Performs Ashadhi Ekadashi Mahapooja With Farmer at Pandharpur Temple

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis participated in the sacred Mahapooja at the Vitthal-Rukmini Temple in Pandharpur on the auspicious occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi. In a special gesture, he was accompanied by farmer Dhanaji Nana Sutar from Jalgaon district, symbolizing the government’s respect for the farming community.

The Mahapooja was performed during the early morning hours at 2:30 am, marking the culmination of the annual wari pilgrimage. Devotees from across the state gathered to witness the traditional rituals and seek blessings from Lord Vitthal.

Fadnavis expressed his devotion, stating that this divine tradition reinforces Maharashtra’s spiritual and cultural unity. The event was held amid tight security and extensive arrangements by the local administration to accommodate the lakhs of pilgrims arriving in Pandharpur.
