Delhi : Senior BJP leader and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was met with strong opposition during his visit to Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Members of the Student Federation of India (SFI) staged intense demonstrations against him on campus.
Holding placards and raising slogans, the protesting students expressed their discontent over various policies and issues linked to the BJP government. The protest created a brief commotion ahead of Fadnavis’ scheduled event at the university.
Despite the uproar, security personnel ensured the situation remained under control and the program proceeded as planned.
