Commuters Frustrated as Ticket Counters Stay Shut at Badlapur Station

Mumbai : Badlapur Daily commuters at Badlapur railway station are grappling with major inconvenience as several ticket counters remain closed, resulting in long queues and growing frustration among passengers.
The shortage of staff at ticket windows has made it difficult for office-goers, students, and other travelers to purchase tickets in time. Many report missing their trains due to long waits, with some forced to either travel without tickets or find alternate transportation.
Residents and commuters have urged the railway authorities to act swiftly by either deploying more staff or introducing automated ticket machines to ease the pressure. “This has been going on for weeks now. We need a solution before it gets worse,” said one frequent passenger.
While Central Railway officials have acknowledged receiving complaints and promised to look into the issue, no tangible action has been taken so far.
The ongoing problem has also raised alarms about potential revenue losses, as many travelers resort to ticketless journeys out of compulsion. With the monsoon season on the horizon, passengers fear the situation could deteriorate further if swift measures aren’t put in place.
