The MHB Police made the arrest following a formal complaint filed under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and IPC sections related to molestation.

The minor, a resident of Nagpada in South Mumbai, endured repeated harassment between June 2024 and May 2025. Reports indicate the accused not only made persistent advances but also pressured the girl to enter into a romantic relationship.
