Amravati: A heartwarming video of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis conversing with his young relative has gone viral on social media, drawing attention to key issues faced by students.

In the video, the CM’s maternal uncle’s daughter openly shared her concerns about the heavy weight of school bags and suggested that schools should allow students to keep some books in the classroom to reduce the physical burden. She also recommended that schools conduct activity-based learning sessions or interactive classes once a week to make education more engaging.

The girl further urged that CBSE students should also be eligible to appear for scholarship exams, which are currently limited to Maharashtra Board and government schools, to ensure equal opportunities for recognition and appreciation.

Meanwhile, during his visit to Amravati, CM Fadnavis met former MLA and Prahar Janshakti Party leader Bachchu Kadu, who has been leading protests demanding a farm loan waiver. The Chief Minister assured that a decision regarding the loan waiver will be taken by June 30 next year.

Fadnavis also attended the inauguration ceremony and unveiled the statue of late R.S. (Dadasaheb) Gavai on his birth anniversary at the Sahyadri Guest House.
