Nagpur : Venerable Pramilatai Medhe, former Chief Director of the Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, was given a solemn and heartfelt farewell today in Nagpur. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis paid his respects by offering floral tributes and acknowledging her monumental contributions to society.
CM Fadnavis highlighted her tireless efforts in uplifting the status of women through education, discipline, and social reform. He called her an “inspiring pillar of the nation-building movement” whose values will continue to guide future generations.
Members of the Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, along with its current Chief Director, Venerable Shanta Akkaji, were present during the ceremony. Many dignitaries and followers expressed their condolences and shared memories of Pramilatai’s influential life and leadership.
