Mumbai:- In a significant operation, Mumbai Police raided the Anantara Ayurveda Spa located in Chembur and rescued eight young women who were allegedly being exploited under the guise of spa services. The raid was carried out following a tip-off about illegal activities taking place at the premises.
According to reports, the police have booked individuals involved in running the spa and are investigating whether a larger trafficking network is at play. The rescued girls have been sent for counselling and medical examination.
The case has been registered, and further investigation is underway. The authorities have reiterated their commitment to cracking down on such illegal operations across the city.
