Navi Mumbai:- In a grand celebration of dedication and achievement, Navi Mumbai hosted a pair of inspiring felicitation ceremonies at the Marathi Sahitya Mandir in Vashi on Sunday. Organized under the leadership of Director Sunil Kumar Prabhakaran, the twin events paid tribute to the city’s rising academic stars and its frontline medical professionals.

The day commenced with the Annual School Toppers Award, where Class 10 toppers from 29 schools across the region were honored for their exceptional board exam performances. Proud parents, principals, and teachers stood by as students were applauded for their academic commitment and perseverance. Educationist Dr. Biswajeet Mukherjee delivered a motivating address, emphasizing the value of disciplined study, self-reflection, and the habit of journaling as a tool for personal growth.

Immediately following was the Aarogyam Dhanasampada ceremony, held on the eve of National Doctors’ Day. This segment recognized 30 esteemed doctors and medical staff from Navi Mumbai and Raigad for their service to the community. Among the highlights was the presentation of Lifetime Achievement Awards to three veteran doctors—Dr. Narayan Bhaurao Auti, Dr. Alka Rajpuria, and Dr. Premchand B. Jain—whose decades of commitment to patient care have left a lasting impact on regional healthcare.

The event was marked by moments of tradition and artistry. A ceremonial lamp-lighting opened the proceedings, while a Bharatanatyam performance by Tapasya Vinod offered a graceful cultural interlude that reflected the city’s rich artistic heritage.

Director Prabhakaran, in his address, expressed his gratitude to both the students and the medical fraternity. “Recognizing excellence—whether in the classroom or in the clinic—is essential. These individuals are shaping the future and safeguarding the present,” he noted.

The twin ceremonies served not only as a celebration of achievement but also as a reminder of the values that define Navi Mumbai’s spirit—education, service, and cultural pride.
