On May 3, 2025, the Border Security Force (BSF) apprehended a Pakistani Ranger near the Indo-Pak border in Rajasthan. The soldier, part of Pakistan’s paramilitary force, was caught attempting to infiltrate Indian territory. This incident occurred shortly after a BSF jawan was detained by Pakistani Rangers in Punjab for inadvertently crossing the border.

The captured Pakistani Ranger is currently in the custody of the BSF’s Rajasthan Frontier. The BSF has lodged a formal protest with the Pakistan Rangers regarding the infiltration attempt.

This development highlights ongoing tensions and the alertness of border forces in preventing unauthorized crossings along the Indo-Pak border
