Mumbai : In a tragic incident late on the night of August 7, 2025, Asif Qureshi—cousin of Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi—was fatally stabbed following a confrontation over a parking space in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area. The dispute reportedly began when a couple of teenagers parked a two-wheeler near his house gate, sparking a verbal altercation that escalated violently .
The victim, 42-year-old Asif Qureshi, was standing outside his home in Jangpura Bhogal Lane when he was attacked by the two men around 10 pm . The accused—identified by police as Ujjwal (19) and Gautam (18), who are purportedly brothers living in the same lane—were apprehended soon after the attack . Law enforcement has confirmed that the murder weapon was seized .
Saleem Qureshi, the victim’s father, condemned the attack and urged authorities to ensure strict punishment for those responsible .
