Mumbai: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has taken strict action at the iconic Kabutar Khana area, reportedly collecting a fine of ₹61,900. The action was taken against individuals and vendors violating cleanliness and hygiene regulations in the locality.
According to reports, the civic body intensified its efforts to maintain public sanitation and reduce nuisance caused by feeding pigeons and improper waste disposal. The drive is part of BMC’s broader campaign to enforce cleanliness norms across the city.
