Mumbai : Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner and Administrator Bhushan Gagrani conducted a thorough inspection of the iconic Marine Drive stretch from Nariman Point to Swarajyabhoomi (Girgaon Chowpatty) this morning.
During the visit, Gagrani emphasized enhancing the natural beauty of Marine Drive by maintaining tree care, ensuring seating benches are in good condition, avoiding littering, reducing unnecessary plaques, and beautifying the area by painting lamp posts.
He instructed that the entire Marine Drive stretch be cleaned daily, barricades along the road be properly maintained, and construction materials at Chhoti Chowpatty near Swarajyabhoomi be removed to maintain hygiene.
The inspection was attended by Deputy Commissioner (Circle 1) Mrs. Chanda Jadhav, Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Prashant Pardeshi, Special Works Officer Mr. Chandrasekhar Chore, and other municipal officials.
