Bollywood celebrities have come out in strong support of the Indian Army after Operation Sindoor—a decisive overnight strike on terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and parts of Pakistan—in retaliation to the brutal Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 Indian nationals on April 22.
Several film industry voices took to social media to express solidarity and pride in the armed forces. Actor Riteish Deshmukh led the chorus, posting:
“Jai Hind Ki Sena… Bharat Mata Ki Jai!!! #OperationSindoor”

Their reactions followed widespread national applause for the successful operation, which was carried out with surgical precision by the Indian Army. The mission was seen as a direct message to terror groups and their backers, reaffirming India’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism.

Not just Bollywood, but several top politicians, including Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, also commended the armed forces for avenging the lives lost in the Pahalgam attack. Rijiju posted:
“A fitting tribute to our martyrs.
The message is clear: India will not tolerate terror. Salute to our armed forces. Jai Hind!”
Operation Sindoor has reignited national pride and unity, with public figures and citizens alike praising the Indian Army’s swift and strategic action. The wave of support also highlights Bollywood’s growing engagement in national issues, particularly when it comes to honoring the sacrifices of the armed forces.
